Alan Moravek

In June, 1992, God made it clear to Alan that it was time for his ministry team to embark on an intinerant ministry, a ministry to which the Lord had called Allen in 1968. The Years between were spent in teaching, working in industry, and pastoring. From the outset, God has arranged for preaching and ministering opportunities to occur, primarily, without any advance notice; yet the team is always busy somewhere. The focus of Alan's preaching is sound doctrine and the need for God's people to "...live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world." In addition to singing to Judy's AutoHarp accompaniment, another major area of ministry for this team is that of encouragement; i.e., to encourage God's people to remain faithful, to continue looking to Jesus day by day. A song writer has written, "It will be worth it all when we see Jesus," and this is so very true. But this team constantly asserts that it is worth it all right now to faithfully live for the Lord Jesus Christ and to be serving Him in any capacity.

Mark Herbstritt

After the Lord saved him in 1990, Bro. Mark Herbstritt was led to Southside Baptist Church, where four years later, he and Pastor Ernest Staff established The Stable printing ministry. It is now located at Grace of Calvary Baptist Church, Dr. George H. Alquist, Pastor. With twenty-seven years experience as a professional printer, Bro. Mark chose to leave his secular position, step out by faith, and go into full time service in March of 1998. Since its humble beginnings, God has increased this ministry tremendously, enabling it to help churches and missionaries around the world with their printing needs. We trust you will utilize The Stable to meet the printing needs of your ministry; and we hope you will prayerfully consider supporting us, as we serve out Lord by serving our brethren.
